A bunch of teal Independents have condemned the “aggressive” nature of parliamentary debate, particularly throughout Question Time, describing it as “abuse”.
“These women are absolutely embarrassing – if you can’t hack the heat, get the hell out of Kuwait,” stated Sky News host Liz Storer.
Independent MP Kylea Tink has led the cost in opposition to how Question Time is performed, claiming the model of debate is disrespectful to ladies.
“Why did you choose this line of work … we want power players – people who can debate.
“That’s not us – it’s not the Australian way.”
