The Bureau of Immigration has relieved two personnel from their submit for alleged involvement in human trafficking actions, spokesperson Dana Sandoval stated Thursday.
In an interview on Super Radyo dzBB, Sandoval stated the company obtained intelligence data that the 2 had been conniving with “external parties” to commit the criminality.
“They were relieved po based on intelligence information. Sila po ay temporarily nilagay po muna natin sa back end office para hindi po sila maka-hamper sa ongoing investigation ito sa kasong ito,” she stated.
(They had been relieved primarily based on intelligence data. We briefly put them on the again finish workplace so they won’t hamper the continuing investigation on the case.)
According to Sandoval, one of many two was stationed on the Ninoy Aquino International Airport whereas the opposite was assigned to Clark International Airport.
She stated they’ve been working for the BI for at the very least 5 years.
“Kapag nakita po natin na talaga namang totoo na may involvement itong mga ito sa ganito pong mga scheme ay tutuluyan po talaga ito ni Commissioner [Norman Garcera] Tansingco,” she siad.
(If we discover out they’re concerned in a scheme, Commissioner Tansingco will take away them from their submit.)
Meanwhile, Sandoval reminded that the hiring of recent Immigration officers will finish on January 20, Friday.
“Tomorrow po ang last day nung application for new immigration officers. I think we are hiring 49 new immigration officers. You can just go po to our website careers.immigration.com.ph,” she stated. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
