Yasmien Kurdi has given start to her second youngster through caesarean part.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared images of the process and shared her start story, saying that she needed to have a standard supply.
However, issues didn’t go based on plan.
“After series of tests nalaman namin na manipis pa din pala ang CS scar ko even after 11 years – not a good indication. ‘Di na namin itinuloy because of many high-risk possible scenarios and we opted for CS the day I labored,” Yasmien mentioned.
“We also found out during the procedure that the baby had a cord coil. It actually was a good call that we opted CS because if we tried VBAC [vaginal birth after cesarean section] we would have ended up doing CS still,” she added.
Cord coil is when the umbilical wire will get wrapped across the child’s neck contained in the womb, which may trigger problems in regular supply.
Yasmien thanked her docs for caring for her and her child throughout her process.
“A #cesarean (C-Section) is a life saving procedure for women like me.. I chose to do whatever it took to get my baby out healthy and safe!” she mentioned.
Yasmien is married to business pilot Rey Soldevilla. They have an 11-year-old daughter, Ayesha.
The couple introduced they’re anticipating their second youngster in November. They later shared that they’re having a child woman.
Congratulations, Yasmien!
