A person and girl have been hospitalised with extreme accidents and police are investigating after a house explosion in a single day.

Shortly after 3.30am on Friday, the Queensland Ambulance Service was known as to a house in Narangba after experiences of an explosion.

Two residents, a feminine and a male, had been discovered with “significant burns” and transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical circumstances.

A neighbour advised Today there have been youngsters inside the home on the time, however that they had managed to flee safely.

“I heard sirens going past my house, I live just down the road,” he stated.

“I opened the door, I smelt smoke and I knew something was up.

“It was pretty full on. I’m glad the kids got out safely and the parents, hopefully they’re doing well in hospital right now.”
