Safety considerations have been raised after a small little one was damage by a spiked object whereas at a playground.
The toddler was stabbed by the spiked object hidden within the sand on the Sindone Family Park in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast.
The native councillor answerable for the park believes that the merchandise was left there intentionally.
“This little bit of litter has been weaponised, and it’s injured at least one child,” Gold Coast councillor Hermann Vorster advised 7NEWS.
Mr Vorster says that the kid was not critically injured however that he has “serious concerns” in regards to the household pleasant park.
