A mom from Ballesteros, Cagayan is asking for assist for her 10-month-old child, who has a lump on his chest.
According to a “24 Oras” report on Wednesday, Jocel Torida mentioned she thought that the lump would go away. But it has simply been getting larger and larger as time goes on.
“Hindi ko alam kung anong nararamdaman niya, kung masakit ba. Hindi naman niya masabi kung gaano kasakit ‘yung nararamdaman niya,” she mentioned.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation had a physician test on her son, Keith, to find out what the lump on his chest is.
Dr. Rex Merza, Chairman of Department of Surgery of Far North Luzon General Hospital, mentioned, “This one is a cavernous type na hemangioma, medyo mas malalim siya sa skin—abnormality sa development ng blood vessel.”
“Pero sa case niya kasi, nasa dibdib naman. Pwede naming obserbahan lang muna. Kung hindi talaga liliit, it’s the time na kailangan siya operahan,” he continued.
Jocel appealed for assist so Keith can get the medical remedy he wants.
“Sana po matulungan niyo po ako na matanggal ‘yung bukol ng anak ko bago pa lumala,” mentioned Jocel.
