Kryz Uy is prepared for 2023 after happening a week-long social media break over the New Year vacation.
Uy spent the vacations with husband Slater Young, their 2 children, and their family members at an airBnB seashore home away from Metro Manila to calm down and take it straightforward, largely taking part in varied celebration video games, as proven in her newest YouTube video.
“I’m just taking it easy this trip. I haven’t been online at all. I have zero social media posts. I have no Internet connection at all. I’m trying to do a little detox,” she stated.
“I haven’t even greeted any of my friends ‘ Happy New Year.’ It feels very liberating to not have to constantly be on your phone,” she added.
According to the highest influencer, she hasn’t actually had a break from social media, vlogging, and work.
“I think it’s about time I give this to myself,” she stated. “The whole year I’ve been really super consistent, and I kind of failed to give myself a pat on the back for that, but now that it’s the holiday season, you know, I feel like I shouldn’t pressure myself so much to put out content all the time.”
Kryz was presupposed to launch a video on New Year’s Day however determined to take it straightforward and provides herself a break and never stress out about it.
“It feels so nice and liberating to be — not working for a full week. That’s the most break that I’ve ever gotten ever — like one full week na hindi ako nagvlo-vlog, ‘di ako gumagawa ng content and all these things. No answering emails, no laptop, nothing. So, I feel refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on the New Year. Let’s go!”
