You may need heard about some conventional medical therapies, equivalent to colon cleaning and acupuncture. But how efficient and protected are they?
According to a report on Pinoy MD, these practices are overseen by the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Healthcare (PITAHC), which was based by advantage of R.A. 8423, or the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act of 1997.
The regulation pushes for the research and use of conventional therapies which were confirmed protected, efficient, inexpensive, and falls inside the authorities requirements of medical apply.
Among the practices accredited by PITAHC are colon cleaning, moxibustion, and acupuncture.
In the report, sufferers who endure these therapies say they’ve been serving to with their circumstances equivalent to numbness and paralysis.
PITAHC Director-General Dr. Annabelle Pabiona-De Guzman mentioned that they hope to make conventional and different practices to be part of Philippine healthcare.
