“My weight loss journey did start with a fair amount of self hatred.
“I used to be too afraid to show my body in photos I would post on the internet.
“I would never get in group photos with friends and family as I was ashamed. I really had to look at myself and ask if I wanted to live my life feeling like this.
“I also felt extremely fatigued a lot of the time. My feet would hurt standing for long hours and I felt like I couldn’t function like most people.
“At my heaviest, I was getting daily chronic headaches, which lead me to staying home more often because I was in pain.”
One of the worst components of being chubby for Ellen was the embarrassment that it could generally result in in social conditions.
At her heaviest, she went by means of the “mortifying” expertise of breaking chairs, and likewise felt ashamed when she couldn’t match into an amusement park journey.
“I’ve broken two different chairs, and it was so embarrassing,” she recalled.

“I realised that as long as you’re consistent 80% of the time, you will see results.
“I have changed how I view my body completely. I feel so proud of myself for committing to changing my health for the better.
“I am so happy. My journey will never be over, but this is now my way of life.”
