A pair of conjoined twins from Pandi, Bulacan proved that their situation will not maintain them again from reaching their goals.
According to a report on “Good News,” 15-year-old twins Joy and Joyce Magsino have defied the chances as they completed third grade with honors!
“Ito po ay kay Joy na card, ang pinakamataas po niya ay 95,” the twins’ mom, Jhomarie Desuyo, shared whereas exhibiting their faculty report playing cards. “At ito naman po kay Joyce… ang pinakamataas din po 95, tatlo, Araling Panlipunan, Mother Tongue, at ESP.”
“At sila po ay may medal po sila, with honor po,” the proud mom added.
According to Dr. Jay Villavicencio, Joy and Joyce are craniopagus twins, a sort of conjoined twins who’re hooked up collectively on the head.
“Ito ay isang rare na birth defect. Maaaring nagkaroon ng problema noong sila ay embryo pa lang at during development,” he mentioned.

“Ilang beses na po si kambal ini-schedule na operahan kaya lang po pagdating po nung final na general exam nila para mapaghiwalay, may nakikikta po silang problema kay Joyce kasi siya po ‘yung mahina ‘yung hangin sa puso,” Jhomarie mentioned.
“Kaya po ang sabi po ng doktor, kung mapapaghiwalay sila, ‘yung isa po mawawala, ‘yung isa po, 50-50,” she continued.
“Gusto po naming mapaghiwalay pero sana po ‘yung ligtas po kami,” Joy mentioned.
