A well-liked Aussie brewery has recalled one in all their beers after an undeclared ingredient that may trigger an allergic response.
Stone & Wood Brewing Co is recalling its Counter Culture Eirinn Irish Cream Stout after it was found a batch of the product doesn’t warn customers it accommodates milk.
Milk is taken into account a possible allergen and must be declared on the packaging.
“Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” Food Standards Australia and New Zealand stated.
The beer has been offered in retailer and on-line at bottle retailers and shops in NSW, VIC (together with Paul’s IGA in Ringwood East) and QLD.
