Richard Belzer, the edgy comic identified for his function as Law & Order detective John Munch, has died at 78.
His final phrases had been reported to be “F**k you, motherf**ker.”
Belzer died early on Sunday at his house within the South of France, his pal and author Bill Scheft instructed The Hollywood Reporter, the New York Post experiences.

“Much to my delight, because he is a great character for me to play, it’s fun for me. So I’m not upset about typecast at all.”
While identified for his jokes, Belzer’s life was tormented by tragedy: each his father and brother died by suicide. He additionally survived a bout of testicular most cancers in 1983. His explanation for dying was not instantly identified. He is survived by his spouse, actor Harlee McBride, and two stepdaughters.
