A bid to have world jazz celebrity Michael Buble headline an out of doors live performance in City Beach subsequent month has fallen flat, with organisers saying the logistics have been too tough to carry the massive title to the venue.

PerthNow in September revealed main Perth occasions organiser Zaccaria Concerts and Touring was eyeing Buble for its By the C live performance collection at City Beach Lower Oval.

Rumours have been swirling after the Town of Cambridge granted approval to Zaccaria to host a efficiency on December 4 that includes “an International classic jazz and soul artist”.

It would have been the second By the C live performance on the location after Aussie music legends Icehouse and Pete Murray rocked out to a crowd of about 8000 in March.

But Zaccaria Concerts and Touring chief working officer Roy Adams confirmed this week the City Beach live performance wouldn’t be going forward as Buble’s manufacturing was simply “too big” to carry to the venue.

“It was going to be Michael Buble,” he mentioned.

“(Town of Cambridge) did give us provisional approval however, unfortunately, just the logistics side of it prevents us from doing it at that particular venue because there is limited access for semi-trailers and stuff like that.

“So we have decided not to do it.

“It would’ve been nice; we sort of stuck our toe in the water there but unfortunately we can’t make it happen.”
