Tributes are flowing for Houston rapper Big Pokey after his shock demise whereas performing reside on stage at a US live performance on the weekend.
The 45-year-old, whose actual identify is Milton Powell, reportedly suffered a medical emergency at a present in Beaumont within the state of Texas on Saturday evening.
The City of Houston and the hip-hop neighborhood are mourning the lack of the Houston native recognized for delivering traditional underground and mainstream hits over the past 20 years.

Musician Bun B shared a touching tribute on social media following the news of Big Pokey’s demise.
“I wasn’t ready for this,” he wrote on Instagram.
“One of the most naturally talented artists in the city. Low key, humble mountain of a man who moved with honour and respect.
“He was easy to love and hard to hate. He’d pull up, do what he had to do and head home. One of the pillars of our city. If heart of gold was a person.
“There will never be another and will be missed dearly. We love and honour you Sensei. Rest in heaven.”
Big Pokey was related to chopped and screwed music, and was one of many unique members of the Screwed Up Click.
