Sweet snaps show Project host tying the knot

Project host Hamish Macdonald has tied the knot with longtime companion Jacob Fitzroy, along with his co-hosts sharing candy snaps of the nuptials on-line.

Pictures of the marriage had been posted on The Project’s Twitter account, with Macdonald having deactivated his social media accounts in 2020.

The three photos shared confirmed the TV host trying dapper in a conventional Scottish kilt, whereas Fitzroy was wearing a basic black tux with white bow tie.

In one picture, they had been proven in an outside setting surrounded by associates and being showered with confetti.

In one other, the newlyweds had been snapped beaming at one another throughout their large day.

In the clip posted on Twitter, co-host Georgie Tunny introduced the news, saying: “There has been a wedding in The Project family this weekend; our very own Hamish Macdonald and his longtime partner Jacob.

“Here are some cheeky little snaps – don’t they both look stupidly handsome and so gorgeous. And we are so thrilled for them. They could not look more in love.”

She went on to say that she would “start crying”.

“They are so beyond beautiful.”

Sarah Harris added, “I love the kilt,” as Michael Hing jumped in with a joke: “Didn’t get an invite for some reason, don’t know why.”

The others had been fast to level out he was working.

Tunny added: “I just hope that they had the most magical day.”

Macdonald made his first pink carpet look with Fitzroy again in June 2019 once they attended the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball in Melbourne, the place The Project host was serving as moderator.

“I’m always proud to stand beside by best friend and favourite human,” he captioned an image that confirmed him and Fitzroy kissing in a photograph sales space.

“And while I hope that one day soon it won’t be newsworthy to hold the hand of the person you love, for now, we’d both like to say thank you for the overwhelming messages of love and support.”

But it hasn’t been the smoothest lead-up to tying the knot, with police referred to as to a celebration at Macdonald’s Sydney house in March final yr over complaints from neighbours, after the revelry reportedly continued for six hours.

The get together was reportedly held to have a good time the upcoming nuptials.
