Madonna says she is on the “road to recovery”.
The Queen of Pop, 64, has been resting at her New York dwelling after she was final month hospitalised – sparking the cancellation of her ‘Celebration Tour’ – and got here ahead on Monday to say she is getting again on her toes and to thank followers for his or her assist.
She mentioned on her Instagram: “Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement.
“I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.
“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children.
“My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour.
“I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.
“My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!”
Madonna was noticed earlier on Monday within the Upper East Side of New York strolling with a good friend in a hat and sun shades, and was seen leaning on a lamppost in a TikTok video by podcaster Lauren Conlin and footage obtained by Page Six.

He mentioned: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.
“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
