Police have launched particulars of Sinead O’Connor’s demise after the singer was discovered “unresponsive” at a property in London on Wednesday.

Met Police mentioned the troubled star, 56, was declared lifeless on the scene after officers arrived.

They added that her demise was not being handled as suspicious.

A police assertion mentioned: “Police were called at 11:18hrs on Wednesday, 26 July to reports of an unresponsive woman at a residential address in the SE24 area.

“Officers attended. A 56-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Next of kin have been notified. The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”

Tributes poured in after the demise of certainly one of Ireland’s most well-known voices was confirmed final night time.

O’Connor had struggled for years along with her psychological well being.

In current years, followers grew to become involved when she posted some public messages on social media that sounded suicidal.
