The Upside Down singer took to her Instagram Stories after watching the brand new Disney movie over the weekend to vent her frustration with its central idea. The 41-year outdated wrote in a since-deleted submit, “Just seen the brand new little mermaid with my youngsters and whereas I believe Halle (Bailey) offers an excellent efficiency and it is nice casting as a mom of women I do not need my youngsters to suppose it is okay to surrender your complete voice and your powers to like a person.”
