The daughter of late Liberal senator Jim Molan stated she had developed a fond friendship with Anthony Albanese throughout his election marketing campaign.

She has now opened up about being ghosted by the PM after a current version of her Daily Telegraph column titled: “Trust me Albo it’s over, I’m breaking up with you” was revealed.

“I didn’t write that headline,” she stated on 2 DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin breakfast present on Wednesday.

“If you actually read my column it says the Labor government and it says, ‘Yes, I’m breaking up with you.’

“You try writing a political column every two weeks and finding something where you’re not trying to offend people.”

Molan and co-host Dave “Hughesy” Hughes joked about their efforts to befriend Albanese earlier than he grew to become essentially the most highly effective man within the nation.
