K-pop fans furious over Ticketek fail

Social media customers have vented their anger after they have been unable to purchase tickets to the Korean pop sensation TWICE tour via Ticketek.

Tickets to the Australian leg of their international outing, ‘Ready to Be’, on May 3 at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and on May 6 at Rod Laver Arena went on sale immediately.

The problem seems to be a malfunction on the Ticketek web site, with no button to truly buy tickets on the web site.

One individual complained they wasted nearly two hours attempting to buy the extremely wanted tickets.

“I got into the actual booking page multiple times, but no buttons to actually buy!” they wrote.

“I tested different pages – they work fine, just not TWICE.”

Another mentioned they tried accessing Ticketek on their telephone and laptop computer however was “only able to get one ticket after waiting one hour”.

One individual joked “the queue on Ticketek is already so bad I’m losing hope”.

Many annoyed followers took to Twitter to work out in the event that they have been the one one experiencing the ticket dramas.

“Is anyone else experiencing troubles with Ticketek as I just got to the part where I could choose my tickets and it would not let me purchase anything even though I could select any part in the arena,” one requested.

Ticketek didn’t reply to requests for remark from news.com.au.

TWICE, a South Korean lady group fashioned by JYP Entertainment, has change into a Okay-pop international sensation after forming in 2015 via the TV program Sixteen.

It’s composed of 9 members, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.

Yesterday, Chaeyoung took to Instagram to apologise after being photographed with a swastika on her shirt … saying she didn’t realise what the image was.

“I sincerely apologise … I didn’t correctly recognise the meaning of the tilted swastika in the T-shirt I wore,” the singer wrote.
