I’m A Celeb chaos as contestants busted

Chaos ensues on tonight’s episode of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! when the contestants are busted with contraband within the South African jungle.

Producers caught wind that a few of the well-known faces had smuggled lollies into the camp by way of ziplock baggage and, naturally, they weren’t pleased.

An ultimatum letter is then issued to the campers, as learn out loud by netball champ and contestant Liz Ellis: “You have either two minutes to consume or surrender every single item.”

Cue a feeding frenzy with the likes of actuality stars Aesha Scott and Domenica Calarco, and athletes Harry Garside and Adam Cooney, gobbling down copious quantities of lollies somewhat than getting it confiscated.

“How much contraband did we bring?” mentioned former Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry via a mouth filled with lollies. “I feel like it’s Christmas.”

However, former The Project co-host Peter Helliar mentioned it felt extra just like the day after Christmas.

“I had a feeling this moment was coming, but it has descended into a frenzy. It was like the Boxing Day sales,” he mentioned in a video confessional.

Meanwhile, the feeding frenzy reminded fellow contestant Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson of a scene from a nightclub.

“The first few days of this camp has at times resembled an inner city nightclub at three in the morning,” mentioned the music mogul and former Australian Idol decide. “Everyone’s been going around saying, ‘Do you want some? Sprinkling a bit here. Having a dab in here. Drop a bit of that in there … Honestly, it’s been so sneaky … I’m just amazed that we were spotted.”

While viewers should wait till tonight’s episode to see if the campers are capable of beat the two-minute deadline, one one that may’ve negotiated with producers is Kerri-Anne Kennerley.

The seasoned TV character mentioned it was her negotiating expertise that allowed her so as to add a significant clause in her contract. That is, not like different contestants, she was allowed to convey make-up to camp – with no questions requested and nil penalties.

“They should just get better management. Not my problem,” she informed news.com.au of her particular therapy and her camp mates’ lack thereof.

I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! continues 7:30pm tonight on Ten.
