Prince Harry has expressed his issues for the opposite “spares” within the royal household, together with Prince William’s three kids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
In an interview with The Telegraph, the Duke of Sussex spoke about his worries for his niece and nephews.
“As I know full well, within my family, if it’s not us,” he stated, as he pointed to his chest, “it’s going to be someone else.”
“And though William and I have talked about it once or twice, and he has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.
“I still feel a responsibility knowing that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare. And that hurts, that worries me.”

Harry’s relationship together with his older brother has typically been characterised as “heir and the spare”, with William inheritor to the throne when their father, King Charles III, passes away and Harry his spare.
Currently, the Prince of Wales’ firstborn Prince George is second in line to the throne behind his father, whereas youthful siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are third and fourth.
