Last week it was revealed the Duchess of York did not get an invitation to the crowning of Charles and Camilla at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
She is not among the 2,000 guests despite knowing Charles since childhood.
The duchess is expected to watch the event on TV at Royal Lodge, which she shares with disgraced ex Prince Andrew.
And this morning she broke her silence after the snub – telling Good Morning Britain exactly why she wasn‘t invited.
She said: “I‘m not invited because it’s a state event. Being divorced you’ll be able to’t have it each methods.
“I’m having fun with being divorced to my husband – not from my husband.
“I’m shut with King Charles and Camilla.
“The great point at this second is the unity of household.
“In personal I might be there. It‘s a great feeling to be part of the family.”
Earlier this month, she told ITV1’s Loose Women she at all times deliberate to observe the Coronation on TV.
