Corgi derby dash sees distant relative of Queen’s dog pipped to the post

A late entrant pipped different pups to the end line as Musselburgh Racecourse held its second annual corgi derby. More than a dozen Pembroke Welsh corgis dashed down the grassy course, with Rodney nosing forward of rivals in a photograph end. However, a nine-year-old corgi considered distantly associated to one of many late Queen’s canines had a more durable day with a last-placed end.
