Bruce Springsteen cancels US gigs after falling ill

Bruce Springsteen has cancelled a number of US tour dates after being taken unwell.

The 73-year-old singer was on account of play with The E Street Band in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday and Friday earlier than the gigs have been postponed.

A press release on X, the social media website previously often known as Twitter, from Springsteen’s account on Wednesday didn’t specify what situation he has.

“Due to Bruce Springsteen having been taken ill, his concerts with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 have been postponed,” the publish mentioned.

“We are working on rescheduling the dates so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows.”

In March, he cancelled a number of deliberate performances within the US.

He mentioned one postponement of a gig in Albany was all the way down to sickness.

In July, Springsteen performed a headline gig in London’s Hyde Park after he launched into his first main tour in six years.

This month, he has upcoming dates in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
