The man charged in Treat Williams’ deadly automotive accident says he knew the late actor and thought of him a good friend.
Ryan Koss, who had been notified earlier this week he was charged with grossly negligent operation leading to loss of life, launched an announcement yesterday.
He stated he was devastated by Williams’ loss of life and supplied his “sincerest condolences” to the actor’s household.
“I considered him a friend,” Koss stated.
Koss, the managing artistic director of the Dorset Theatre Festival in Vermont, stated he knew Williams for years as a member of the tight-knit group, in addition to a fellow theatre member.
A Vermont State Police investigation concluded Koss’ car pulled in entrance of Williams’ bike on June 12 in Dorset. Williams was flung from his bike and later pronounced useless on the Albany Medical Center.
