Who knew an Instagram submit a few sandwich might trigger a lot controversy?

Certainly not Chrissie Swan, who’s copped some savage suggestions for a current sponsored Instagram submit a few humble sandwich.

The Aussie TV and radio character was excited to share a current lunch discover that she stated suited her busy way of life, happy her tastebuds, and was worth for cash.

“I recently queued up for half an hour for a fancy schmancy egg sandwich for which I was charged $16.50. Never again when my faves from Coles Express are $6, always fresh AND I never have to wait in a line,” she captioned a photograph of herself tucking into an egg and lettuce sandwich in her automotive.

“Anyway – these sandwiches are properly good – especially on the go in your car when you’re starving and have 2000 other places to be. 10/10 recommend,” she concluded.

However, the 49-year-old’s sponsored submit was met with criticism, with many satisfied Swan – who lately misplaced 90kg after overhauling her food plan and way of life – didn’t eat the sandwich in any respect.

“What we do for money,” one commenter on Instagram, whereas one other point-blank requested: “Do you really eat it?”

“Couple times a week!” Swan replied.

There have been extra naysayers within the feedback part, with one writing, “What makes me think you didn’t eat this,” to which Swan replied: “I’m not sure? Cos I do.”

One Instagram follower even claimed to have seen the Nova radio host at her native cafe on the day she posted about her Coles Express sandwich.

“You were at ‘That’s Amore’ but you had this for lunch instead? lol,” the follower wrote, forcing Swan to hit again: “Didn’t say the pic was taken today!”

Among the criticisms have been some supportive feedback from followers who didn’t perceive what was so controversial concerning the harmless submit.

“Omfg, so much hate over a sandwich. People suk,” one famous. Swan admitted she was simply as baffled in her reply to the fan.

“An egg sandwich has always been a controversial choice,” she joked.
