Australian star dies ‘suddenly and unexpectedly’

Australian actress Maxine Klibingaitis, who’s finest identified for starring on Prisoner and Neighbours, has died. She was 58.

Her dying was introduced on Facebook on Tuesday.

“We regrettably announce that actress Maxine Klibingaitis has passed away today. Maxine played the much-loved character of Bobbie Mitchell in Prisoner, Terri Inglis in Neighbours and many other roles in Australian TV,” learn an announcement posted on the Prisoner Facebook fan membership, Partners in Crime.

“Maxine was only 58. We send our sincere condolences to her son, Zane and Maxine’s family & friends. RIP Maxine.”

Klibingaitis performed Bobbie Mitchell onpopular TV collection Prisoner from 1983 till 1985, and in addition starred on long-running Aussie cleaning soap Neighbours for six months.

The social media group added the submit was not a “hoax”, with the news coming from a detailed pal of Klibingaitis’. Her dying was reportedly “sudden and unexpected”.

After her stints on Neighbours and Prisoner, Klibingaitis went on to star in The Flying Doctors and Home And Away in 1988, Family and Friends in 1990 and Blue Heelers in 1994.

Her final credited function was in a venture referred to as The House Cleaner in 2013.
