ABBA star releases new single and solo album to come

Agnetha Faltskog of the long-lasting Swedish pop band ABBA, has launched her first new tune in 10 years and introduced a brand new solo album.

The album, known as A+, will probably be launched on October 13, the singer stated on Thursday. Her first single from the album Where Do We Go From Here? has already been launched. It is a catchy and modern pop tune.

The 73-year-old musician’s new single is alleged to be the one new recording on the album. Other songs are reworkings of her final solo album known as A, launched in 2013.

Faltskog wrote on Instagram that she was impressed just a few years in the past, when she heard a tune from A on the radio and questioned what that album would sound like if it had been produced as we speak.

She then approached the producers with the thought. “A little later I heard the first revised song and I have to say I was absolutely thrilled,” she stated.

“It sounded so fresh and modern, even better than I had imagined!”

Faltskog fashioned ABBA within the Nineteen Seventies with Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid – often known as Frida – Lyngstad.

The group rose to worldwide stardom with songs like Waterloo, Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia.

Faltskog has since launched a number of solo albums. In November 2021, ABBA launched their first joint studio album in virtually 40 years.
