Club president Jason Furnell quashed issues saying the protection gear used within the sport met requirements throughout most different motorsports.

“The boats have the roll cage, the seats, the harness, so everyone’s buckled in nice and tight, it’s pretty close to every other motorsport standard,” he mentioned.

“(The boats) are designed to take a hit and unfortunately sometimes they can be fixed and other times not.”
