Instagram is experiencing a world outage for 1000’s of customers, based on outage monitoring web site Downdetector.com.
More than 180,000 customers reported points with accessing Instagram on the peak of the outage, with over 24,000 customers in Canada and over 56,000 customers in Britain reporting issues.
Downdetector tracks outages by collating standing experiences from a number of sources, together with customers.
Meta – the corporate that owns Instagram – issued a press release apologising for the inconvenience.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing Instagram,” a Meta spokesperson mentioned.
“We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience.”
