Bill Shorten has accused of a collection of politicians within the former authorities of gaslighting the nation over the robodebt scheme.

Alan Tudge, who was human companies minister in 2016 and 2017, stated he “strongly rejected” the claims made by Commissioner Holmes that he had abused his energy.

“It is part of a Minister’s role to publicly defend government policy when that policy is subject to criticism,” he stated.
