A country cottage on Yallingup Hill — an property developed by late entrepreneur Alan Bond — has set a worth file within the beachside city, smashing the $5 million barrier.

Space Real Estate’s Justin Davies stated the price per sq. metre of land on the Wardanup Crescent property was on par with these on Marine Parade in Cottesloe.

The three-bedroom cottage was beforehand owned by a Cottesloe household, who purchased the 850sqm block in August 1968.

Landgate title information present the Cottesloe household purchased three adjoining tons to create the 850sqm lot almost 55 years in the past.

While lot costs on the property began at $3500 within the late Sixties, the premium tons are believed to have bought for double that quantity, taking the household’s whole expenditure to about $20,000.
