Qantas plane refuellers strike in Melbourne

A 24-hour strike by employees who refuel Qantas and different worldwide airline planes at Melbourne Airport is threatening to disrupt flights.

The Transport Workers’ Union (TWU) says the economic motion from 4am on Wednesday to 4am on Thursday is a push for higher pay and situations for the employees employed by the Rivet Group.
