Elon Musk says his proposed cage struggle with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg can be live-streamed on social media platform X, previously often known as Twitter.
The social media moguls have been egging one another right into a blended martial arts cage match in Las Vegas since June.
“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X,” Musk stated in a publish on X on Sunday.
“All proceeds will go to charity for veterans.”
Earlier on Sunday, Musk had stated on X that he was “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight”, including he didn’t have time to work out so he brings the weights to work.
“It’s a civilised form of war. Men love war,” Musk responded when a consumer on X requested what the purpose of the struggle was.
Meta didn’t reply to a Reuters request for touch upon Musk’s publish.
The brouhaha started when Musk stated in a June 20 publish that he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who’s skilled in jiu-jitsu.
A day later, Zuckerberg, 39, who has posted footage of matches he has gained on his firm’s Instagram platform, requested Musk, 51, to “send location” for the proposed throwdown, to which Musk replied “Vegas Octagon”, referring to an occasions centre the place blended martial arts (MMA) championship bouts are held.
Musk then stated he would begin coaching if the cage struggle took form.
