A junior authorities minister has been compelled to withdraw unparliamentary language after he dropped the F-bomb throughout a loud debate on a brand new visa scheme.

But it wasn’t till former deputy prime minister and now opposition spokesman for the Pacific, Michael McCormack, known as the Speaker’s consideration to the incident.

“I ask the minister to withdraw the language he just used in parliament; it’s most unparliamentary about our Pacific friends,” Mr McCormack mentioned.

Mr Conroy instantly withdrew the remark, despite the fact that Speaker Milton Dick had not heard the remark and the language was not picked up by the chamber’s microphone.

But Mr Conroy later admitted he’d used the f*** phrase.

“I said something along the lines of ‘You f***** up the Pacific relationship when you were in government and now you’re making it harder for us to fix it’,” he advised Nine newspapers.

Such language is just not allowed in parliament.
