A site visitors controller is combating for all times after allegedly being struck by a automotive whereas engaged on a Gold Coast street.

It occurred about 2.45pm Wednesday on the intersection of Gold Coast Hwy and Twenty First Ave, Palm Beach.

The 39-year-old site visitors controller was working on the scene when police stated she was struck by a passing Mazda.

She was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital with crucial accidents.

Images of the Mazda taken after the crash present the extent of the collision.

The bonnet of the car has a big dent within the centre and the windshield is shattered.

The 46-year-old driver of the Mazda is being questioned by police, with no costs laid on the time of writing.

The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit can also be investigating.
