Homes got here solely metres from being flooded by a burst water fundamental in Perth’s northern suburbs on Monday.
The pipe burst about 4pm in Heathridge and threatened to inundate properties earlier than the Water Corporation shut down the water fundamental.
Affected residents mentioned the water fundamental had been leaking for days earlier than the Water Corporation shut it down.
“This has been leaking for about three or four days, we’ve called Water (Corporation), they said ‘we haven’t got a team available’,” one man advised 7NEWS.
“Then my son called me before and said ‘dad it’s like a river out the front here’.
“Came out and it was just getting deeper and deeper.”
Children have been seen taking part in within the water shortly after the principle was switched off.
