The Australian Border Force confirmed the service supplier who manages the superior passenger processing techniques was experiencing an IT outage.
The points are affecting all worldwide check-in factors throughout the key cities.
“We are working with the service provider to assist with resolving the matter urgently,” a spokeswoman informed AAP.
“The ABF will revert to manual processing of passengers where applicable.”
It is known Melbourne and Sydney airports are already experiencing some delays.
