The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is about to shut its Bull Creek department in June after buyer demand “progressively declined”.
Regional normal supervisor Karen Reid stated the choice got here after a latest assessment of providers confirmed a lower in use of the department.
“We regularly review our services across Australia to help inform decisions on where to open, renovate or upgrade branches, or in some instances where to close branches,” Ms Reid stated.
“With more banking touchpoints than ever before, there has been a clear preferential shift towards digital and phone-based banking.
“We’ve redeployed the vast majority of staff from branches that have closed, and are working closely with our people from Bull Creek branch to support securing appropriate comparable roles suitable to their needs.”
Ms Reid stated prospects who most well-liked over-the-counter service might go to close by branches at Canning Vale, Booragoon, Success or Riverton.
“We’ve found 45 per cent of Bull Creek customers already visit these other branches,” she stated.
“Australia Post’s Bank@Post service is also available at the Bull Creek LPO for personal and business banking transactions such as withdrawals, deposits and balance inquiries — including passbook — during normal business hours.
“We understand this change may affect the way some of our customers bank, and our Bull Creek branch team are available to provide one-on-one assistance until Friday, June 2 to help equip and educate customers with alternative banking options.”
