An “unhappy” 1.8-metre albino reticulated python was rescued by an animal shelter in Austin, Texas on Monday – after being lacking for months.
“Due to the temperatures the snake was lethargic enough that a couple of residents were able to catch it and keep it in their garage,” wrote the municipal shelter, which is run by town of Austin.
Often callers exaggerate the scale of snakes when calling the shelter, on this case the python was simply as large because the callers thought.
