A soldier averted severe damage after his parachute did not open throughout a coaching train, forcing him to deploy his emergency chute on the final minute. Army recruits within the Airborne Division in Alaska, USA had been working towards leaping out of a airplane when the incident occurred. The terrifying footage, recorded by a fellow recruit, reveals the soldier plummeting to the bottom as his parachute will get tangled. He spins as he free falls with one soldier heard saying: “Pull your reserve!” Just a whole lot of toes above the bottom, the recruit manages to tug the wire of his emergency chute to the cheer of his fellow troopers. The incident occurred in April 2023.
