Monica Mary Stockdale, 70, was discovered lifeless on the Baptistcare Bethel facility in Albany on November 28.
Her loss of life was not believed to be suspicious till an post-mortem discovered she had allegedly been strangled to loss of life.
After ”extensive investigations”, police yesterday charged 19-year-old Jacob Hoysted along with her homicide.
Speaking to media as we speak, Detective Inspective Quentin Flatman mentioned he had little question Stockdale’s loss of life “will very much shake the core of this community and those who have elderly loved ones in aged care facilities”.
“In these facilities, people should be expected to be cared for to the highest of degrees,” he mentioned.

Hoysted fronted Perth Magistrates Court as we speak and didn’t apply for bail.
