A wild animal suspected to be an enormous cat is on the unfastened on the outskirts of Germany’s capital.

The Brandenburg Police Department posted on Twitter warning residents in Kleinmachnow, Teltow and Stahnsdorf – within the Potsdam district of Berlin – to remain inside as a wild animal had escaped and was on the unfastened round 3am native time (11am AEST).

Police mentioned the wild animal is known to be an enormous cat.

“Bring your pets into the house. Our colleagues are on site and checking the situation,” police mentioned.

At 7am native time, police gave an replace that the massive cat hadn’t but been discovered.

“We ask you not to leave the house. If you see the animal, please call the emergency number,” police mentioned.
