Fifi Box gets emotional on air after driver’s license suspended for six months

Fifi Box has misplaced her driver’s licence for six months following three consecutive driving infringements.

The radio character shared her ordeal this morning on her Hit breakfast program Fifi, Fev & Nick, expressing her dismay with co-hosts, Brendan “Fev” Fevola and Nick Cody.

According to Box, she went 6km/h over the velocity restrict a number of days in a row and has been stripped of her licence.

“I went over my demerit points, which is a silly thing,” she mentioned. “I went through the tunnel three days in a row. I saw the red light camera, and then there was another one, and they added up and I lost my licence for six months.”

“I went through the tunnel three days in a row. I saw the red light camera, and then there was another one, and they added up and I lost my license for six months,” the Melbourne-based star mentioned on air.

Box mentioned her driving offence wasn’t as unhealthy in relation to different infringement on the market, so the punishment doesn’t match the crime, in her opinion.

“There are people that drink and drive, or use drugs and drive and they get the same as I did and I was just going a bit over in the tunnel,” she mentioned.

“I wasn’t way over, I’ve never used the tunnel before and I was like ‘bang, bang, bang’ three days in a row.”

However, her frustrations have been beginning to present when Fevola and Cody didn’t see her standpoint, joking that she deserves “capital punishment”.

“You can’t even run through red lights anymore, it’s a nanny state!” Cody mentioned, sarcastically.

“I’m just saying,” Box replied. “I wasn’t way over.”

Fevola mentioned it didn’t matter as a result of it was nonetheless over the velocity restrict.

“Have you ever seen the ads, ‘Speed kills’?” he requested her, to which she replied: “OK, don’t make … I was going 66 in a 60 zone.”

“That’s six over then,” Fevola identified.
