LIFE-SIZE Barbie pop-up lands in Perth shopping centre

Pink mania is starting to take over Hoyts cinemas at Karrinyup Shopping Centre in anticipation for the Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling which hits the massive display in two weeks.

Hoyts is becoming a member of the enjoyable with a life-size Barbie field positioned on the cinema — one in all a choose few across the nation — the place movie-goers may be part of the movie’s pleasure by interacting with the super-sized toy reproduction.

PerthNow caught up with Barbie forward of the massive premiere on July 20 and the long-lasting character confirmed life in plastic is incredible.

“It’s going to be so exciting when the film comes out, there are already so many friends here and they get to hear all about my life and all the fun things me and Ken get up to,” Barbie stated.

“You get to take a look inside the Dreamhouse, it’s the most fun in the whole wide world. We have slides, we have friends we have anything you could ever imagine.”

Hoyts Karrinyup supervisor Jarrod Syme stated the cinema was excited to welcome followers for the highly-anticipated movie.

“We’re expecting a huge crowd to come through for our opening night, we are super excited,” he stated.

“The film looks amazing, very colourful, a lot of people talking about it, it’s the one film all the kids and parents have been talking about for quite some time.”

Directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie follows Barbie and Ken having the time of their lives within the seemingly excellent world of Barbie Land.

However, once they get an opportunity to discover the true world, the duo quickly uncover the fun and perils of residing amongst people.
