‘Presumed human remains’ found near debris field of doomed Titan submersible

Horizon Arctic, a Canadian ship, carried a remotely operated automobile, or ROV, to look the ocean ground close to the Titanic wreck for items of the submersible.

Pelagic Research Services, an organization with places of work in Massachusetts and New York that owns the ROV, mentioned in a press release on Wednesday that it had accomplished offshore operations.

Pelagic Research Services mentioned its workforce is “still on mission” and can’t touch upon the continued Titan investigation, which includes a number of authorities companies within the US and Canada.

“They have been working around the clock now for 10 days, through the physical and mental challenges of this operation, and are anxious to finish the mission and return to their loved ones,” the corporate’s assertion mentioned.

Debris from the Titan was situated about 3,810 metres underwater and roughly 488 metres from the Titanic on the ocean ground, the Coast Guard mentioned final week.
