Customers of one of many nation’s main banks have been left within the lurch after a serious outage left them unable to entry their cash.
Commonwealth Bank despatched out a message to their clients on Monday morning informing them of a day trip problem with their app and Netbank providers.
“We’re aware some customers are experiencing difficulties accessing some of our services and we are urgently investigating,” the financial institution mentioned in a press release shared on its social media accounts.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. We’ll provide an update soon.”
The drawback has left some Aussies caught on the checkout, with one girl responding to the financial institution’s Facebook submit claiming she was unable to switch cash to purchase her groceries.
“Just had to ditch the shopping at Coles ‘cause I couldn’t transfer money over from one account to my card account,” the girl wrote.
“Awesome when I’m at the chemist getting medication for my unwell children. Thanks Commbank,” one other mentioned.
“Yeah awesome just put fuel in my car great work commbank,”a 3rd wrote.
Some clients reported being unable to entry ATMs on Monday morning.
