Stolen ATM turns up empty on SA country road

An ATM stolen in an audacious ram raid on a South Australian pub has turned up empty on a rural street.

The money machine was lifted out of a licenced premises at Cudlee Creek, east of Adelaide, within the Adelaide Hills early on Saturday morning.
Police stated the machine, which had been damaged aside and emptied of money, solely contained a small sum of money.

CCTV revealed the break-in occurred round 4.30am.

A white Mazda was used to crash into the entrance doorways of the pub and two individuals have been seen stealing the money machine, police stated.

About 5.30am police have been referred to as to Angas Creek Road, round 10km east of Cudlee Creek, after reviews of a white Mazda on hearth.

Police checks revealed the automobile had been stolen from a northern Adelaide suburb final week.

A couple of hours later, a member of the general public referred to as police to say that they had seen the entrance of an ATM on Tippett Road, Millbrook, quarter-hour from the place the remainder was discovered.
