Concerned residents captured the unlikely touchdown on digital camera, with one witness telling 3AW that the passengers on board appeared “stressed”.
“People were hoping out of the basket and comforting one another,” witness Eleanor informed 3AW.
“They were really really lucky that the road wasn’t too busy.”
